China Association of Program Executive Directors (CAPED) Meeting at the Stanford Center

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of participating in a meeting of China Association of Program Executive Directors (CAPED). CAPED, organized by John Thomson, the director of the University of California Beijing Study Center, is a regular informal gathering of the China offices of U.S. universities, study abroad programs, high school curriculum experts and internship coordinators. This recent meeting of CAPED was supported by the Stanford Overseas Study Program and hosted by the Stanford Center at Peking University. CAPED also benefitted greatly from having the leaders of the China Association for International Education (CAFSA) in attendance. CAFSA discussed with us some exciting new developments that will greatly facilitate educational exchanges and internship opportunities.

It was an honor for us to be able to connect with so many leaders in international education. We are already looking forward to the next meeting!
