Today we are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jerome A. Lucido, the Executive Director of the Center for Enrollment Research, Policy, and Practice (CERPP) at the University of Southern California, has joined InitialView as a senior advisor (Dr. Lucido is joining in his personal capacity and does not represent CERPP or USC in his role with InitialView). As the director of CERPP, Dr. Lucido is recognized as a leading authority on U.S. higher education admission policy and practice, having previously served as the Vice Provost for Enrollment Policy and Management at USC and the head of undergraduate admission at UNC Chapel Hill.
From the beginning of our interactions, Dr. Lucido has been invaluable in helping us understand the multiple ways our interviews could be of assistance to admission officers. He also shares our passion for providing transparency and ensuring the integrity of the U.S. admission process. Not only does he believe that our interviews can go a long way towards solving many of the issues surrounding applicants from China, Dr. Lucido has also demonstrated for us how our interview platform can assist with the evaluation of non-cognitive skills of applicants.
