OACAC 2015 Dialogue

We thoroughly enjoyed attending this year’s OACAC conference, hosted by the University of Oregon. It’s always a pleasure to connect with admission and counseling professionals from all over the world (89 countries represented!) to talk about best practices when working with students and families. It’s also an honor to spend time with people who have been in the profession for many years before us and to learn from them. Special congratulations to Peter Hauet for not only winning the Lifetime Achievement Award, but also having it renamed in his honor.

This year, there was quite a bit of dialogue about making the application process safe for honest applicants. You can read about some of the topics of discussion here.

Looking forward to OACAC 2015!

OACAC 2015 is less than a month away! We are thrilled to once again be highlighting recent trends with applicants from China (and other countries) at our "In Their Own Words" session and look forward to the the discussion (and beauty of Eugene, Oregon)!

InitialView in Shanghai!

We always love going to Shanghai to visit students, teachers, and friends, old and new. Shanghai students often provide us with some of the most lively info sessions we encounter, and this time did not disappoint either! We also got a preview of the beautiful location of this summer's OACAC Regional Institute. Looking forward to our next visit!
