Some have said that our CEO sounds pretty good on the radio. We're not so sure, but if he did then it's probably because he had a cold that day.
We've included the MP3 here. Enjoy!

Today we have the pleasure of announcing an initiative that has been several months in the making. Our interview process has been tapped to power the LAC Interview, which is officially launching today. The LAC Interview is an interview process which is being offered to international applicants by a group of top liberal arts colleges. The ten schools are Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Claremont McKenna College, College of the Holy Cross, Colorado College, Davidson College, Harvey Mudd College, Middlebury College, Swarthmore College and Wellesley College.
You can see the website at www.lacinterview.org.
We are very grateful for the chance to support these schools. The interview will be conducted in accordance with our current format--it will continue to be unscripted and done in one take. All decisions involving the interview will be made in the admission offices; InitialView will not be scoring or rating the interviews. Students who participate in the LAC Interview will be able to provide their interview to as many schools as they want--whether liberal arts colleges or not--at no extra charge.
As always, if you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to email us at contact@initialview.com.
One of the things we enjoy the most is when we are invited to talk at high schools about the application process, InitialView and our own experience in applying to U.S. colleges. There is so much that we have learned in recent years that we wish we knew then!
It was a delight for us to recently have the opportunity to stop by Beijing No. 4 and talk with a large group of some of the top students in Beijing. In particular, we would like to thank the Beijing No.4 college counselors Shiny Wang and David McCauley for the invitation.
A few days ago we held our second annual "Going to America" Party. What a great time! It is always fun for us to see which colleges the students have chosen and to congratulate them on their successes. We also want to thank our guests Zhang Yi from the Wall Street law firm Shearman & Sterling, James Hu from Standard Chartered Bank and our own Gloria Chyou for sharing their thoughts on college and how to think about one's career.
While we're sure that the language pledge took some getting used to, hopefully the students realized when they watched their interviews just how valuable it was.
